In this lesson you will practice: • correct hand, grip, and finger placement • proper elbow positioning for stability • safe head placement and weight distribution • floating one leg into headstand preparation • lifting into a tuck position with control • adjusting the pelvis to find correct alignment • slowly extending from tuck to straight legs Finally, we practice exiting the pose safely, lowering the legs with control and resting in child’s pose to release the neck and shoulders.
